Abstract
La investigación presenta, en base a la metodología del framing, el tratamiento que la prensa hizo sobre las movilizaciones sociales en escenarios de conflicto. El trabajo hace especial énfasis en el clima de violencia generado en 2015 por el proyecto minero Tía María, encontrándose que su cobertura enmarcó más las responsabilidades de sindicatos, dirigencias, frentes de defensa que las de la empresa minera. Este tratamiento se traduce en las críticas a estos por poner en riesgo la vida de los policías así como las pérdidas de clases, cosechas y seguridad en la región.
The research presents, it based on the methodology of framing, the treatment that the press made about social mobilizations in conflict sceneries. The work places special emphasis on the climate of violence generated in 2015 by the Tia Maria mining project, and found that its coverage framed the responsibilities of trade unions, leaderships and defense fronts more than those of the mining company. This treatment results in criticism of these for putting at risk the life of the police as well as the loss of classes, crops and security in the region.
